Production & Design Educator

Harrison Lange

After building a career in the live entertainment industry with a focus on lighting, sound, and scenic design, Harrison Lange transitioned into education, bringing a wealth of experience to the classroom. Formerly the Associate Technical Director at Bay Street Theatre, Lange honed his technical skills while collaborating with renowned artists such as Julie Andrews, Jason Alexander, and Don Roy King. Lange’s versatility extended beyond theatre, with technical design contributions to major live events, including the 2023 Super Bowl and LA Marathon. Lange's commitment to the future of live entertainment is evident in a dedication to integrating emerging technologies with a strong emphasis on sustainability and safety. In the educational setting, Lange draws on this extensive experience to inspire students to push boundaries, effectively utilize technology, and contribute to a safer and more sustainable future for the industry.

Tristan King

Graduating with his M.F.A. in Theatre Design and Technology, with a focus on Lighting and Sound, Tristan King spent two years touring; eight months in China with Sound of Music, two months with Elf, and 8 months with The Wiz. King decided to leave the touring world and go into education, providing industry standard skills and connections to students. Having a background in audio production, King has designed and mixed concerts in his home state of Mississippi, as well as Maine and Utah. King pushes artistic expression, creativity, and freedom in his classroom.
